Monte cazzola is a small peak that dominates the Alpe devero pastures. From the top the view is wide and spectacular. Reaching the top we will see mountains such as the Cervandone peak (3.211 m), Helsenhorn (3.272 m), Guglie del Cornera and other beautiful rocky peaks.
The Monte cazzola soil is different from the other surrounding mountains, here we put our feet over the Calcesisti a particular rocky formation of limestone origin. Our hike starts from Devero, the beautiful plain of mountain pastures and huts, it climbs through a beautiful larch forest, reach a pretty alpine pasture where the panorama opens towards the "Devero Wide East".
A nice climb in the wood leads us to the foot of Monte cazzola. Here the landscape becomes more and more interesting until we reach the summit where the majestic peaks on the border with Switzerland will be an amazing sight. The descent is possible by a little rough secondary path that takes us to Val Buscagna where there is a beautiful alpine lake and other alpine pastures to enjoy.
