Alps are covered with snow and, outside the usual tourist routes, there are beautiful and uncontaminated valleys far from ski resorts.

Alpe Devero Park with its countless trails is the ideal place for those looking for a relaxing holiday with several accommodations. In the Gran Paradiso National Park you can go for beautiful snowshoeing in wonderful places. Aosta Valley, which is not far from Milan, is rich in itineraries and great views.

All snowshoeing hikes are led in safety, each participant is equipped with devices for avalanche research. Depending on the difficulty and the type of trail, the snowshoes hikes are conducted in collaboration with the Alpine Guides to ensure safety and and funny routes.

In winter there is not only snow! The Ligurian coast offers several itineraries with mild climate. It can happen in sunny winter days to walk in t-shirt! This is, for example, a good moments to trek in the Cinque Terre area where you can have the opportunity to discover these wonders of the world without the typical high season crowd and many accommodation are cheaper. You can discover the Portofino promontory or the coastal part of Beigua Natural Park close to Genova.

In winter there are paths for everyone, from easy walks and snowshoeing hikes, to the more demanding hiking trails. The first mountains of eastern Piedmont are situated less than 1 hour drive from Milan. With a little more driving you can reach wonderful places around Lake Maggiore like Alpe Devero, Fromazza Valley and all their natural park, you can reach the beautiful and lonely Valsesia or the panoramic mountains of Biella.
